As you sow, so you reap

All of us work. All of us expect results or rewards. But very often we expect more than we deserve. We forget that our reward depends on the work we do. A farmer who sows good seeds in the proper way on good soil can expect a good crop. One who sows inferior seeds on unprepared ground will not have anything to harvest. This is true of all our words and actions. Kind words spoken to others will bring us kind words from many. Kindness shown and help given will certainly bring us better rewards than we expect. This also teaches us that the evil we do will bring us evil as reward. But those who do not get the expected result and those who get evil as reward. But those who do not get the expected result and those who get evil as reward do not think of this. We should do good deeds and speak kind words. Real good is done without any thought of the rewards it will bring. At the same time it is only human to expect a good word at least in return. Our joy multiplies when our good deeds bring the expected results. But even those who evil feel disappointed when evil comes to them. He who plants thorn shall not gather roses.
